Incorporated in Massachusetts and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service in October 1978 as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity (EIN 04-2636758), our organization exists to support the programs, services, and older adults of the Marlborough Senior Center at 40 New Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.
How We Serve Marlborough Seniors in 2026
- Operating the Senior Center Gift Shop: Open Monday–Wednesday (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and Thursday–Friday (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) at 40 New Street, offering reasonably priced greeting cards, holiday items, and specialty gifts with 100% of proceeds supporting senior programs.
- Underwriting Free Community Events: Sponsoring events such as the January 13, 2026 free New Year’s Jazz Brunch with the String-Swing Jazz Trio, seasonal ice cream socials, and holiday luncheons.
- Funding the “Seed to Table” Greenhouse: Providing grants for seeds and greenhouse materials so the Senior Center Garden Club can grow fresh vegetables and herbs used in Chef Cindy Loughlin’s Center Grille lunches.
- Publishing Monthly Updates: Partnering with Executive Director Trish Pope and the Council on Aging on Marlborough Seniors on the Go! (Volume 13, Issues 1–10 in 2026).
